A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I have always enjoyed working with my hands and while growing up,  I participated in a lot of different types of crafts.  When I was first introduced to clay in the spring of 2004, I was hooked.  I am primarily self taught.  What I know about clay, I have learned from spending countless hours doing research and experimenting on my own, attending workshops and seminars, working with other potters and sharing ideas.  I find it very gratifying for someone to appreciate a piece which I have worked so hard to create.

I built my studio in the summer of 2009.  I started having classes shortly thereafter.  I have a variety of people using the facility.  From seasoned artists to people who have never worked with clay before, the fellowship is enjoyed by all.  I look forward to seeing everyone each week.  Please contact me for class availability.

There is such a diversity in the field of ceramics.   From the wide variety of clays that are available, the different types of glazes, the different firing methods and temperatures, the different types of equipment, there is also a wealth of information that is accessible from our peers.  Also, through new technology brings to our lives as potters such excitement and challenges.  Art allows a person's mind to grow and expand through creativity.
